REHABILITATION

Rehab is an important step in the healing process. Many of us have muscle imbalances that effect our movement or posture. With our muscles being responsible for the movement and positions of our bones, it is important to ensure those muscles are working well together to create an efficient and well aligned system.

Since the spine guards the central nervous system, the muscles around it take precedence. We pair your chiropractic adjustment with various forms of traction based off of your individual case. We aim to retrain the muscles to hold your spine in its most optimal position.

The other muscles in the body, though not directly connected to the spine, still play a vital roll in daily function. when out of balance, they can still pull the spine out of alignment and cause damage to the nervous system. We will provide simple stretches and exercises that can often be done at work or at home and can be incorporated into your daily routine.

Your healing is a priority inside and out of the doctors office.

The Harrison full spine model.

This model shows the most biomechanically efficient position for the human spine. Studies consistently show that pain and disfunction arise when the spine strays away from this shape in daily posture. The spine is meant to move and bend, but when chronically out of alignment, it will cause subluxation and in time, disk degeneration. It is vital to re-train the body to hold this posture as its natural resting and standing position.
